The Research Group of Prof. Dr. Manfred Kappes

We are a mainly experimentally oriented research group with research interests in understanding novel physico-chemical properties of matter constrained to sub 10 nm dimensions.  The group has people and labs both at the South Campus (Institute of Physical Chemistry) and the North Campus (Institute of Nanotechnology) of KIT.
